Twelve Fair Bits Form One Whole Board
A draw samples twelve independent fair occupied/empty bits on a three-row, four-column board. All 4096 boards have equal probability. One whole captured stake prices the complete draw, with no row shares. The sampled board stays fixed while its reveal animation runs. There is no cell-by-cell collection or early cashout.
Score Straight Occupied Components
Find orthogonally connected components of occupied cells using shared horizontal or vertical edges. A component qualifies only when it contains two, three or four cells AND every cell lies in one straight row or one straight column. Raw score sums the number of cells in all qualifying components. It does not count components as one point each. Singletons, bent or branching components and every other component contribute zero.
A Branch Does Not Contain a Scoring Sub-Line
A connected L-shape of three occupied cells scores zero even though two cells lie in a row. The whole component must be straight. An isolated horizontal line of four scores four, and a separate straight pair adds two. A completely occupied three-by-four board is one branching component and scores zero. The maximum possible total score is eight; there is no score one.
